Your Guide to the World Workplace App

You’ve secured your ticket for World Workplace, booked your travel, and now it's time to enhance your event experience with the official World Workplace app! With the mobile app, you'll have complete access to all the event details at your fingertips. 

Head to the app store (Apple / Google Play) to download the app now. Then login to the app with the same email you registered for World Workplace with and check your inbox to verify your email.

Navigating the App 

The Home page is your central hub. Here, you can explore speakers, venue map, preview the expo floor, and access detailed event information. Navigate through the main sections of the app by tapping the icons on the main screen.   

To update your profile (such as adding a photo), adjust your privacy settings, or log out, click the “person” icon in the bottom right corner.

Agenda Overview 

Browse the World Workplace schedule and create your personalized schedule. Tap the “Agenda” button on the home screen to view each day's agenda. If you are looking for something specific you can utilize the global search bar and enter any keyword. You can also filter by room location, levels of learning, and topics.

Curate Your Agenda 

Customize your agenda within the app with ease. Click the bookmark icon on the right-hand side of session cards, or when viewing individual session details, click the “Add to My Schedule” button to add sessions to your personal agenda. 

Reminders: 

  1. Every session has a bookmark icon.
  2. You can “bookmark” multiple sessions using the bookmark icon, even if they are happening simultaneously. 
  3. Go to the My Schedule tab on the home screen to view your fully curated schedule. 
  4. Adding a session to your schedule does not save a seat.  
  5. Note that some sessions require an additional ticket or are invitation only.

Export Sessions to Your Calendar 

To sync your World Workplace sessions with your work or personal calendars, you can easily export them by clicking on “My Schedule” on the home page. Then click on the “Download” icon in the top right corner and you will have two options. 

  1. Export to my calendar
  2. Download PDF 

Click on a session card from the Agenda page and tap the “Add to Calendar” (calendar icon) button.

Get acquainted with the industry-leading experts speaking at World Workplace. Discover their backgrounds through their bios and see which sessions they’ll be participating in.

Network with other attendees 

Networking is a cornerstone of World Workplace. Connect with fellow attendees both in person and online through the app! Browse the Attendees page to search for contacts and make connections and set up one-on-one meetings. You can also head over to Discussions to chat with other attendees and share any meetups or news.

Connect with Exhibitors 

The expo is the place to find the best products and services for your facility needs. From educational presentations to product demos and one-on-one discussions with FM solution leaders, the app provides detailed information on each of the 200+ exhibitors, including logos, names, booth locations, and brief bios. 

Want to see where they will be on the Expo Floor? View the static expo floor plan by tapping “Expo Floor Plan” to see the layout of the show floor on the home page in the app. 

Make the most out of your expo experience by planning your schedule in advance with the My Show Planner. Log into your My Show Planner (or create your My Show Account if you don’t have one yet) and bookmark exhibitors you’d like to meet, access collateral on their solutions, book meetings with exhibitors and more.  

One more tip: make sure to participate in the Expo Games to earn fun prizes while exploring the expo floor!

Conference Map 

To navigate the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center with ease, tap on the “Conference Map” button on the home page of the app to see a static view of the conference floor.
